The robbery happened this afternoon just before 4 p.m. at Anna van Renesseplein in Uitgeest.
The robber threatened violence and grabbed the cash register before running away.
He was stopped by bystanders on the Geesterweg and, according to a police spokesperson, was ‘put in handcuffs’ around 4:10 p.m.
