A motorist was stopped by the military police on Saturday because he had had far too much to drink. The man was checked after he failed to give way at a roundabout and almost caused an accident in Eindhoven. The East Brabant Military Police reported this on Instagram.
A breath test showed that he had an alcohol content of 1115 µg/l, while 220 µg/l is permitted. “This is well above the legal limit,” said the military police.
Moreover, the man was not allowed to drive at all because his driver’s license had previously been revoked until April 2027. It was therefore not the first time he had crossed the line. Earlier this year he was also arrested for driving under the influence.
A report has been drawn up against the man.
