A 36-year-old man from Tilburg has been arrested in the investigation into a shooting at a chip shop in Tilburg. The shooting took place on Thursday afternoon on the terrace of the chip shop ‘t Belske on Thomas van Aquinostraat. A 52-year-old man from Dongen was injured.
Police investigation
After the shooting, the area was cordoned off for investigation. There were bullet casings on the street and forensic investigators were investigating the evidence. Witnesses were also heard and camera images viewed. The shooter fled after the incident.
The investigation led to a 36-year-old man from Tilburg later that afternoon. He was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the shooting.
