Under the guiding theme “Comfort in Bloom”, the Swiss underwear manufacturer Calida is letting its spring/summer 2027 season bloom like a garden: from the first delicate blossom in spring to the full splendor of midsummer. In five successive chapters, the collection translates this image into a wardrobe that moves naturally throughout the day, from sleepwear to loungewear to light daywear. This creates a clear emotional narrative for retailers with tangible commercial potential.
SS27 is structured into garden worlds that are connected in color and style and will be delivered staggered from January 11, 2027: Spring Awakening, Picnic Garden, Water Garden, Jardin Majorelle and Summer Garden. The color scheme changes with the season: from cool ‘Cloud Blue’ and Azure to warm pink, rosé and earthy summer tones to a maritime finale of ‘Limoges Blue’ and ‘Quill Creme’. There are also summery, light, breathable qualities such as cotton, signature Swiss cotton, modal, lyocell, terry cloth and muslin as well as connecting details: botanical prints, lace and the new, stylized sun label as a quiet symbol of warmth and renewal.
A wardrobe that wears from morning to evening
At the center is a reimagined pajama story. Button-through styles in long and short versions make the pajama pants a fashionable piece that no longer just belongs in the bedroom. The popular mix-and-match principle is becoming more modular and can be combined across all launches, with new T-shirt fits for women and modern regular and relaxed fits for men. This creates a flexible system of tops, pants and layering pieces that can be worn from slow mornings to relaxed evenings.
In daywear, Calida brings together several top-selling bra and support concepts such as ‘Natural Shine’, which further develops the iconic Cate world, as well as Seamless Natural Bandeau, Secret Support Top and Soft Bra. They offer light support, invisible layers and flexible straps for different necklines. For men, the travel story becomes the commercial focus: Chooze and Travel and Chooze and Lounge, supplemented by a travel pouch and sleeping mask, meet the need for versatile travel wardrobes. With Mini-Me styles and the new Cozy Line made of soft terry pieces, the children’s line is also moving closer to the adult collection.
When comfort becomes a lifestyle
It is aimed at consumers who see comfort as part of their lifestyle and are looking for long-lasting, flexibly combinable essentials. It is a profile that combines Calida’s core competencies of quality, comfort and everyday suitability with a more modern understanding of versatility: a season that tells an emotional story and sells convincingly at the same time.
