The Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets is growing: On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the Frittenwerk will open in the outlet center and enrich the gastronomy offering with creative and diverse creations. With its 50th location in Germany, the French fries manufacturer is also celebrating its premiere in Saxony-Anhalt. There is a special offer for the opening celebration: all poutines and fries are available for half price on opening day.
Canadian national dish meets outlet
The highlight of the menu: poutine. Canada’s national dish has a name that, loosely translated from French, means “mess.” This refers to fries that are garnished with toppings and sauces, like the Canadian classic with gravy and melted cheese. The menu offers variants with fiery chili, cheese fries, fresh guacamole and spicy pulled pork or shawarma.
The right thing for every taste
In addition to the poutine creations, Frittenwerk also offers a classic portion of currywurst fries and seasonal dishes. Vegetarians and vegans will also find a large selection: several main dishes are purely plant-based, and there are also eight vegan dips. The nutrition organization ProVeg recently ranked Frittenwerk in the top 3 of the most vegan-friendly restaurant chains. All main courses are also available as baked potatoes – made from the same potato that the Frittenwerk fries are made from.
Robin Lippold, Center Manager of the Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets, says: “In the year of our tenth anniversary, we are pleased to be expanding our gastronomy offering with a special concept with Frittenwerk. We are convinced that our guests will love the diverse offering.”
Roman Hollenberg, Head of Marketing & Communications at Frittenwerk, says: “We are really excited about the opportunity to open in such a lively and important outlet for the region. Finally in Saxony-Anhalt it is also said: It’s Fritten season!”
The new branch in the center offers around 80 seats, creating not only space for enjoying fries, but also around 20 new jobs in the region. The modern interior with plants, wooden facades and eye-catching neon signs creates the typical Frittenwerk feeling.
