The KNVB has published the complete draft program for the new 2026/2027 Eredivisie season. With PSV and Willem II, Brabant has two clubs at the highest football level in our country. The first Brabant derby will have to wait a while.
It was announced on Tuesday that PSV will start the season at home against Fortuna Sittard on Saturday, August 8. Willem II also starts on August 8 and will then visit Go Ahead Eagles in Deventer.
Brabant derby
It was still questionable whether there would even be a Brabant derby this season after NAC’s relegation, but Willem II managed to achieve promotion via the play-offs.
The first match between the Tilburg team and PSV is scheduled for October 31 at 6:45 PM in the Philips Stadium. The second mutual match is scheduled for the match round from January 28 to 31. The exact date and time are not yet known.
PSV’s top matches
The matches against Ajax and Feyenoord are also often circled in red in the agenda by fans. Ajax-PSV is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 at 8 p.m. On Sunday, October 25, PSV will play its first top match at home. The national champion will then receive Feyenoord at 2:30 PM.
After the winter break, Peter Bosz’s team will play in De Kuip on Sunday, January 10, again at 2:30 PM. The home match against Ajax will follow between April 23 and 25. The starting time of that match will be announced later.
Program of William II
Willem II plays away to Ajax on Tuesday, September 15 at 8 p.m. This match has been moved from the weekend, because the Amsterdam team has to play the preliminary rounds of the Conference League. In the weekend of December 4 to 6, the Tricolores will go to Rotterdam to play against Feyenoord.
Immediately after the winter break, Willem II will receive Ajax at home on Saturday, January 9 at 8 p.m. Feyenoord will visit Tilburg between April 30 and May 2.
The KNVB emphasizes that this is a concept and that changes can still take place.
