Ayşe Begüm Onbaşı won the silver medal in the Baku leg of the Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup, and İrem Acımış won the silver medal in the Istanbul leg of the Parkour World Cup. According to the statement of the Turkish Gymnastics Federation, Ayşe Begüm came second in the women’s singles category by collecting 19,250 points in the organization in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
İrem came second in the women’s freestyle category of the tournament in Istanbul with 22.10 points and brought Türkiye its first World Cup medal in the parkour discipline.
