Officers, gunners, musketeers, pikemen, traders, farmers and civilians: they all relive the seventeenth century during the reenactment of the Battle of Bourtange. We see that with our colleagues RTV North. Fights take place between the various armed forces at various places in and around the fortress. Will the Bourtange Fortress be taken by the Spanish troops this year or will the Dutch troops remain in charge of the fortress?
