KLM Open tournament boss Daan Slooter laughs baring his teeth after a false start: ‘Golf is a metaphor for life’

There was a feeling of déjà vu during the KLM Open, but on the second day the sun literally and figuratively broke through. On Thursday, the game had to be stopped twice due to heavy weather, causing the schedule to creak and squeak. “The prospects for the rest of the tournament are encouraging, and the great thing is that there was top golf on Friday from early in the morning until late in the evening,” says tournament boss Daan Slooter.
