On July 5th and 6th, Modefabriek returns to the TAETS Art & Event Park on the Hembrugterrein in Zaandam. After a successful first edition at this unique industrial location right on the water, Modefabriek continues to develop its concept with an event where fashion, inspiration and experience take center stage.
The site was redesigned for this edition: the various buildings are closer together, creating a logical tour that naturally leads visitors past all the brands. The lively outdoor area forms the unifying heart of the event. With food trucks, music, lounge areas and various activations, a relaxed festival atmosphere is created that invites you to discover, exchange and inspire.
From established names to new discoveries
As always, Modefabriek presents an inspiring mix of brands. From established labels to exciting new discoveries, from international brands to Dutch labels. Visitors receive a current overview of developments in the fashion industry and discover collections, trends and stories that will shape the coming season.
The Responsible Route offers additional impetus. This curated route highlights brands that are actively working to reduce their impact and shows how responsibility is becoming an increasingly important part of the fashion industry. Included are, among others, Kings of Indigo, O My Bag, Indi & Cold and Mos Mosh.
More than a trade fair
Even if the focus is on collections, Modefabriek offers much more than the classic trade fair experience. Across the entire site, brands create special presentations, collaborations and meeting places that invite exchange and inspiration.
PENN&INK NY is presenting a new collection in Pand 41, while JC Sophie welcomes visitors in its own brasserie in the centrally located Pand 43. In the Event Garden, pop-up stores, showrooms and a variety of exhibitor activities ensure a lively meeting place where inspiration, networking and discovery go hand in hand.
In addition, visitors can expect numerous special promotions. Experience Summum’s “Parade of Wonders” including a ride on the Ferris wheel, discover the new collection from 10DAYS, enjoy a freshly baked stroopwafel at Mexx or browse through a carefully curated selection of fashion, art and photography books at The American Book Center. At EK Fashion, visitors can talk to industry colleagues over a good cup of coffee.
