The British Secret Service has some Finnish quirks.

A spy from the secret service MI6 flies to Finland because the grown-up son of the boss of the Russian intelligence service Mihail lives in the capital. In the series, Helsinki just doesn’t look like Helsinki at all, except for the aerial shots. The base of Mihail, who is secretly flirting with Mati, is the fictitious cafe Saima. The street names are also badly wrong: you can’t find the address Rinrellonkatu 17 in the whole country, and you can’t even compare apartments 0-21. And no matter how much the blue cross flag flies on the flagpole, it does not make the filming location Finnish.
And the scenes have not been shot in Finland, with a few exceptions. That’s what the British say Cosmopolitan.
In the last episode from TV1 today, Kate asks her husband Stuart to come to Finland.
– I am in Finland. Would you come here for a few days? We could go to that hotel, Kate suggests on the phone.
– To that beach hotel? Stuart knows what Kate means.
– Yes, near Virolahti, Kate confirms.

Kate is played by Gemma Arterton and Stuart by Rafe Spall. The series is based on the novel by news anchor Tom Bradby, and there are more. A second production season would therefore be possible, but at least there has been no news about it yet.
