The squad of the National Football Team that will compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been announced. In line with the preferences of Coach Vincenzo Montella, there were 26 football players in the team.
Additionally, according to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation; Muhammed Şengezer, Aral Şimşir and Demir Ege Tıknaz, who are not in the final 26-man squad of the National Team, will be in the delegation that will go to the USA to standby, as the World Cup instructions allow substitution of players in case of injury before the first matches of the teams (during the tournament for goalkeepers).
Among the previously announced 35-person candidate squad, Ersin Destanoğlu, Ahmetcan Kaplan, Yusuf Akçiçek, Atakan Karazor, Mustafa Eskihellaç and Yusuf Sarı were not included in the final squad.
