Germany’s schedule up to the World Cup
The DFB team’s flight to the USA takes off this afternoon. The first training session on US soil will take place tomorrow morning at the grounds of the MLS club Chicago Fire. Kai Havertz will travel to Chicago on a separate flight from London after losing the Champions League final.

The German squad has been determined
As the DFB announced today, Nagelsmann has not made any changes to the World Cup squad reported to FIFA. The final squad had to be submitted to FIFA yesterday at the latest. The 26 players that national coach Julian Nagelsmann had already presented on May 21st were called up. Jonas Urbig from Munich will travel to the tournament as a training goalkeeper.
A subsequent nomination is possible up to 24 hours before a team’s first game, after which they must make do with the squad that traveled with them. A subsequent nomination is only possible if a player has a proven injury or illness that has been checked by the FIFA medical department.
