Slogans on walls
The police suspect that the fire was deliberately lit, a spokesperson said.
Slogans with a racist slant were found on the walls of the building. It says, among other things, ‘fuck off’ and ‘cancer Turk’ in large letters. Whether the texts are related to the fire is still being investigated. Forensic investigation has also been called in to investigate traces, the police spokesperson said.
Road closed
The N506 is closed to traffic due to the fire. The road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
Smoke towards Oosterblok and Westwoud
The smoke is moving towards Oosterblok and Westwoud. The police advise people to keep the doors and windows closed.
