Borussia Mönchengladbach is pushing ahead with squad planning for the new season: According to a media report, the Foals are currently talking to second division striker Isac Lidberg and his club Darmstadt 98 about a transfer.
31 goals in 58 games – Isac Lidberg’s quota in the last two seasons of the 2nd Bundesliga is impressive. In his debut year, the Swede was successful 14 times, and in the recently ended season he netted 17 times.
Clubs at home and abroad have long been courting the 27-year-old, who is only tied to SV Darmstadt until 2027 and would supposedly be available for around five million euros.
According to Sky, one of these interested parties is Borussia Mönchengladbach. But that’s not all: According to reports, discussions are currently underway between Lidberg, Darmstadt and the Fohlen about a change.
