In the first quarter of this year, the number of asylum applications in Belgium fell by as much as 30.5% due to the strictest asylum policy ever of Minister Anneleen Van Bossuyt. The Belgians circumvent European regulations, which means they have stricter asylum policy than the Netherlands.
