Therefore, she is there to blow out the candles with the boys in a pastry shop in the center and in the midst of the celebrations Melek arrives, unaware of all this and ready to collect the cake for her son.

He is aware that the woman is undermining their balance, but he cannot act on impulse. Funda informs Alpay of what happened and, despite the past, the man does not agree with the decision made by his partner: the children should have celebrated with Melek, as agreed.

Meanwhile, Alpay goes to the bazaar and threatens Seyit Ali (Mehmet Çevik), supported by the protection of Kenan (Kadim Yasar); the tones become louder and Seyit Ali falls ill. Back home, his children refuse to celebrate with him, accusing him of not having kept his word for the umpteenth time. Alpay threatens to kill Ömer

The relationship between Defne and Ömer causes repercussions on their respective families. Vildan (Sebnem Zorlu) asks Melek to intervene, but the conversation is interrupted by Halil (Kutsi), who accuses them of making mistakes just like their parents did years before. Vildan leaves and Halil tries to reason with Melek: if Defne and Ömer truly love each other, nothing can stop them.

Defne arrives, ready to apologize to her mother regarding little Seyit Ali’s birthday. Melek is angry and instead asks for information on her relationship with Ömer; so Defne calls her selfish, as he thinks she’s just scared of her families’ reaction and not interested in her real feelings.

Immediately afterwards, Defne accuses Ömer of having spilled everything to Vildan, but he reassures her by promising that they will face every obstacle together. Then Alpay asks Cumali (Nizam Namidar) to keep Ömer away from his daughter; Seyit Ali tries to calm things down, but Alpay insists, threatening to kill the boy.

Furthermore, she reports to Defne that it was her mother who revealed to Alpay about her and Ömer and, last but not least, he introduces her to Kenan’s son, Adnan: he will accompany them to Istanbul.
