Donald Trump uploads direct words to the artists who canceled their performances at the holiday concert. PDO
President of the United States Donald Trump79, addresses the mass shooting of The Great American State Fair concert series. As many as seven of the nine artists attached to the Trump concert have canceled their performances.
Now Trump is proposing Truth Social in his article published on the website, that he himself would perform at the concert.
– I understand that the artists get hype for their performance on Wednesday, so I’m considering bringing the world’s number one attraction to the venue. A man who gathers much larger audiences than Elvis at his best and does it without a guitar. A man who loves our country more than anything and a man many call the greatest president in history. Donald Trump will take the place of these third-rate artists, Trump writes.
– I don’t want so-called artists who are paid way too much money and who aren’t even happy. I want to be surrounded only by happy, intelligent and successful people who know how to win, the president adds.
– Only great friends of the fatherland are invited. This is going to be a wild and beautiful celebration of America! he concludes his writing.
The Great American State Fair is part of the celebration program planned by Trump and the Freedom 250 project, which is organized in honor of the 250th birthday of the United States. The Great American State Fair free event takes place in Washington from June 25 to July 10. in between.
The canceled performers include, among others, the frontman of the band Poison Bret Michaels, Young MC, McBrideThe Commodores, Morris Day & The Time and Milli Vanilli. The reason for the cancellations is the event’s connection to the Freedom 250 project, which is managed by Trump.
According to the artists, the organizer of the event has previously claimed to be impartial. Some of the artists claim they were never told of any political connection to the event.
For example, McBride claimed on social media that the event was misleading.
– I was offered the opportunity to perform at a neutral event, but it turned out to be misleading, he said.
– I asked a lot of questions and was assured that this was a non-partisan event to celebrate all 50 states. Yesterday things started to change and what we were told is not actually what is happening, he added.
