The traditional German shoe brand Peter Kaiser will also be available for men in the future. After the brand, which was founded in Pirmasens in 1838, was taken over by Caprice Schuhproduktion GmbH & Co. KG following bankruptcy in 2023 and has since then operated exclusively in the women’s segment, a deliberately focused men’s shoe collection under the name Peter Kaiser is also scheduled to go on sale from the spring/summer 2027 season.
The collection ranges from elegant business shoes to high-quality loafers and modern casual models to sneakers. The focus is on “sophisticated design, high-quality leather in the upper material as well as in the interior and technical perfection,” says a press release. The shoes are designed and technically developed in Pirmasens. The fit understanding and quality control also take place from there. However, production takes place abroad.
The models are offered with an RRP of 149.95 euros and allow retailers to calculate 170 percent plus discounts, according to the company. There is also a NOS replenishment program and a single pair service, which is intended to create additional security in retail.
“Peter Kaiser stands for quality, style and shoe expertise,” says Jürgen Cölsch. “We are now transferring these strengths to the men’s sector and combining them with clear advantages for retailers and end consumers: The consumer receives top quality, the best leather, high-quality workmanship as well as technical and fit expertise. Retailers benefit from attractive RRPs, a distinctive NOS replenishment program, single pair service and a significantly above-average trading margin.”
Caprice Schuhproduktion GmbH & Co. KG belongs to the Wortmann Group alongside brands such as Tamaris and Marco Tozzi.
