It is mainly sunny this afternoon with some clouds in the province, reports weatherman Jan Visser. There may be an occasional shower. With temperatures rising to 25 degrees in the north and 29 degrees in the south of the province, combined with humid air, it is oppressively warm today.
Later this afternoon it will cool down a bit and there is a chance of a local thunderstorm.
The weekend remains summery
This weekend things are looking friendlier. Tomorrow it will remain dry with regular sunshine and temperatures around 25 degrees.
The temperature will remain the same on Sunday and there may be a shower.
Very wet from Tuesday
From next week it will change again. Heavy showers with rain and thunder are expected, especially from Tuesday. “Really large amounts of precipitation,” Visser adds.
The temperature drops to about 19 degrees. This wetness will certainly last a few days.
