Minouche van der Gijp is not exactly an easy aunt. She ensured that René van der Gijp took a day off work at Today Inside – their marriage was on the verge of collapse and had to be saved with a VI-free Wednesday – but she also caused controversy by interfering in the media with VI’s guest policy.

Suddenly we heard Minouche speak out fanatically against inviting Telegraaf journalist Wierd Duk. René’s wife thought it was unacceptable for him to sit at the table at VI.
