Deniz Undav immediately had the secret recipe against the cup blues. “Frustration kebabs and frustration celebrations,” said the VfB Stuttgart striker on “Sky” after the lost final. Last year, Undav and Co. famously celebrated with kebab in the dressing room after the triumph in the final in Berlin against Arminia Bielefeld.
This year the men from the Ländle only had a medal for second place. However, the “big disappointment”, as VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß put it, was also mixed with a lot of pride.
“We have achieved great things again. We are prepared for the season, we want to be here again,” said Undav. Hoeneß also wanted to “congratulate his team on a great season and great morale. We can leave the season with our heads held high.”
Kane a size too big
