The well-known British nature documentary maker David Attenborough turned 100 years old on Friday, May 8.

Charles congratulated the well-known TV personality on his decades-long career, during which Attenborough has told stories about countless natural wonders and spoken out for nature conservation.
– You share with me my commitment to highlight the urgent need to nurture and protect this precious planet of ours.
In the video, various animals, from a hedgehog to a bird of prey, help deliver the king’s letter to a nature documentarian at the Royal Albert Hall concert hall.
Similar banter is rarely seen in the British court. A similar trick was seen, for example, in 2022, when Queen Elizabeth sat down to tea with Lord Paddington in a sketch depicted as a sign of the queen’s 70-year reign.

Prince William gave a speech at the actual celebration.
– It is a rare privilege to celebrate a hundred years. But what’s even more rare is that that person has changed the way we see our only home, planet Earth, William said, personally thanking Attenborough for their friendship.
“Deeply moved”
Attenborough says he was “deeply moved” by the birthday wishes he received from citizens.
– Unfortunately, I cannot reply to each of you individually, but I want to sincerely thank you all for your kind messages, the well-known TV personality in Finland said in a video message published on his birthday.
