Yvonne Coldeweijer became a juice queen through her persistent spicy information about André Hazes Jr., but her juice flow did him no harm either. They actually made each other relevant, but the folk singer now leads a more boring life, while she has been silenced by media tycoon John de Mol.

‘Where there is smoke’

Private boss Evert Santegoeds has it coming Show newsdesk over with André. “I also think that you made Yvonne Coldeweijer great, didn’t you, with your behavior at that time? This week you said in that podcast that you no longer hang out with some people and: immediately there is no more juice.”

André then: “I did find out – I think that’s life: people come and people go – that there was a time when a lot of things came out for me. It was often true and sometimes it was the case that: where there is smoke, there is fire, but then it wasn’t quite right. But sometimes it was true and that was quite scary.”

Ten minutes

Evert thinks that Monique Westenberg was André’s main spy. “I always thought it was Monique herself.”

André: “Yes, but Monique could not have known certain things. I have sometimes been in the car with people, we would talk about it and then it would be online ten minutes later. I would say: ‘Guys, do we have a microphone in the car or something?’ That really scares you.”

Assumptions

A microphone or just unreliable friends? “At a certain point, people disappear from your life again and then it becomes quiet. That’s where I am now, yes,” says André.

Evert: “You don’t want to say: that was it?”

André concludes: “No, I would never do that. I’m not sure if that’s the case, you know? They’re more like assumptions.”
