Lady Gaga has two new songs presented: “Shape of a Woman” and “Glamorous Life” – both are part of the soundtrack to “The Devil Wears Prada 2”. The singer previously released “Runway,” a collaboration with Doechii that was featured in the film’s trailer.
For “Shape of a Woman” and “Glamorous Life,” Lady Gaga worked with the same colleagues as on her 2025 album “Mayhem,” including producers Andrew Watt, Cirkut and Gesaffelstein.
“Shape of a Woman” is an upbeat pop track that opens the soundtrack, while “Glamorous Life” is a thoughtful anthem about the pull of fame and its shine.
The all-female soundtrack for The Devil Wears Prada 2 also features songs by Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Dean, Raye and SZA. There is also “Material Lover”, which Sienna Spiro wrote and recorded specifically for the sequel film.
Gaga and Doechii
Lady Gaga and Doechii recently released a music video for “Runway,” directed by Parris Goebel. The song may be the pair’s first work together, but their mutual admiration is no secret. Doechii has repeatedly called Lady Gaga a huge influence and a “legend,” calling herself her “biggest fan.”
Lady Gaga raved about Doechii to British Vogue last July: The rapper came out with a style from the start that immediately felt legendary.
Almost 20 years after the premiere of the first film, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” brings back the original cast: Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci reprise their roles from the cult film. Streep once again portrays Miranda Priestly, the ice-cold and uncompromising editor-in-chief of the fictional fashion magazine Runway, who has to deal with the decline of print journalism and shrinking editorial budgets. Also starring: Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen and BJ Novak.
