In the fall, the iskelmä legends go around the concert stages with a big line-up. Danny83, now tells Iltalehte the background of the composition of the Herrasmiehet lavalla tour. It includes his addition Eino Grön87, Erkki Liikanen83, Pasi Kaunisto75 and Kari Vepsä74.
– I am not the organizer of this tour, and I have not been negotiating about it or suggesting performers there. I was also contacted and asked if I would join such a tour, and I was happy to go, he says.
Iskelmä star Frederik felt that he was left out of the lineup. Danny now tells why that happened.
– Probably the organizers of the tour know that Frederik needs to hire his own group, i.e. his band and technician, to come on the tour.
– They have had no desire to pay for an extra band, instead they want to use the same orchestra for everyone. I assume that’s why they haven’t asked Frederik along. It would have been too expensive.
The reason mentioned by Danny led to the cancellation of the Retrojengi tour in 2024, because the organizer of that tour did not bend to Frederik’s demands.
The singer says that he wouldn’t have had anything against Frederik joining the Herrasmiehet lavalla line-up.
– I don’t have the power to decide on this, but it didn’t fit into the budget of the organizers, he presents his assessment.

No dispute in sight
Danny totally shrugs off the idea that they have some kind of new feud going on.
– I called Frederik himself a week ago and told him that such a tour is coming. Reetu knew about it. I told him that even if a tour like this comes, it doesn’t mean that we can’t do joint shows with him too.
The singer says that she herself has a good relationship with Frederik. The two have already had time to book joint gigs.
– We are coming up with a gig in Kuusamo for Midsummer’s Day, and reportedly also at Turku market in the near future, he laughs.
– In other words, there is no obstacle for me that would prevent Reetu and I from working together in the future, he still says.
