From April 17th to October 25th, 2026, the Augsburg State Textile and Industrial Museum (tim) will be showing an exhibition of couture dresses from the Munich fashion label Talbot Runhof for the first time.

In January of this year, around 150 couture dresses by the Munich designer duo Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof were handed over to the museum, which can now be seen in the exhibition “Celebrating Fashion – Talbot Runhof in Paris”. Between 2007 and 2019, Talbot Runhof regularly presented their collections at Paris Fashion Week, establishing themselves as one of the few German fashion labels firmly on the international fashion stage. Prominent personalities around the world wear their gowns at gala events and red carpets.

The exhibits reflect the label’s characteristic design language: elaborately draped fabrics, precise silhouettes, intense color concepts as well as geometric and floral patterns. At the center is an understanding of fashion that combines elegance, individuality and the staging of special moments.

Adrian Runhof: “We are very proud and happy that an important part of our life’s work is going to such an important institution like the tim. We see this house, which has already won several international museum and design awards, as the ideal new home for our work, which will be accessible to a broad audience in the long term.” There will also be a varied tour and event program.
