When T-Low celebrated his breakthrough in 2022, he quickly conquered the scene with hits like “We made it” and “Sehnsucht”. However, his rapidly emerging career was often overshadowed: the musician struggled with drug and alcohol problems. His addiction always got in his way – performances under the influence of substances and subsequent apologies on social media were not uncommon. After withdrawing for a long time, he announced his next break after his comeback.
Sabbatical year and stabilization
At the end of 2024, the rapper released the album “Everythings Purple 3”. Shortly afterwards he announced that he would take a sabbatical and withdraw from the public eye for a certain period of time. Afterwards there was actually a whole eleven months of radio silence surrounding the artist.
According to his own statements, he used the break to stabilize his private life. The “Ordentlich” interpreter, who comes from Itzehoe, revealed that he was in a relationship and had moved to a quiet area near Hamburg.

From exactly this quiet phase, the 24-year-old returned to the music scene a few months ago and made a comeback with the album “Real Music”. However, this is over again shortly after the release. In an Instagram story he announced that he wanted to withdraw from the public eye again.
In the statement, T-Low also states that he wants to take more care of Thilo – his real first name – in order to “get healthy” again. He also posted a hospital emoji that could indicate a hospital stay. The full statement in the story was: “I see all your messages. I will be completely away for an indefinite period of time, working on myself and getting ‘healthy’. Thilo > T-Low. I love y’all and I’m sorry. Have a nice day.” He posted this after some fans sent him worried messages.
He did not provide any information about the exact reasons why he disappeared from the public again. There is also no information from him about whether there could be a timely comeback.
