What a monumental football game! FC Bayern are almost on the verge of knockout against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain – and after a 2:5 they are still at 4:5. The individual criticism.
First the Bayern players high-fived each other, then they hugged their opponents from Paris Saint-Germain after a breathtaking spectacle. True to the motto: Until the next football festival in Munich, where the decision about who will reach the premier class final will be made next Wednesday.
After Bayern’s crazy 4:5 defeat (2:3), both fan camps celebrated their teams for a fantastic semi-final first leg, which has already secured its place in the history books of the Champions League.
“It was a very, very intense game,” said national defender Jonathan Tah on Prime Video. “We showed in many phases what kind of team we are,” added Bayern’s defender in a surprisingly calm manner. Everything is still possible, emphasized the 30-year-old. “We’re going into the second leg with full confidence, giving it our all. We want to get to the final.”
Bayern made a big comeback. Suspended coach Vincent Kompany saw high up in the stands how the German champions were 5-2 down against PSG after 58 minutes. And yet came back again.
