The entrance and exit of the A28 at De Punt have been closed since March 16. As of today, the Groningerstraat at the entrance and exit and the De Punt bridge are also closed.
These closures are from 6am this morning until 7pm on Friday 15 May. The bridge is being maintained during this time and the Groningerstraat is being rerouted for the construction of the De Groene As cycle route.
The municipality of Tynaarlo and Rijkswaterstaat are building a new roundabout at the entrances and exits to the A28 at De Punt. This should make it safer and allow traffic to flow more smoothly.
By combining these three different activities, the inconvenience is reduced. The municipality advises cyclists to ride via the Hooidijk and the Oosterbroeksebrug. Cars take a detour via the entrance and exit ramps at Vries.
