“Do not use AI for inhumane things”: Google employees sign open letter against military cooperation

“We want AI to benefit humanity, not be used in an inhumane way,” said a letter signed by more than 560 Google employees, according to ‘The Financial Times’. The employees turn to CEO Sundar Pichai. According to them, this should prevent Google’s AI software from being used by the US military through secret collaborations. The timing is not coincidental.
