Trainer Carl Hoefkens will resume his work as trainer of NAC Breda on Tuesday. The 47-year-old Belgian is feeling well again, the club reports on X.
Hoefkens did not feel well on Saturday after the defeat against Ajax (0-2) and was unable to speak to the press. He checked himself into a hospital as a precaution.
The club subsequently announced that the coach was doing well, but did not provide any substantive comment due to privacy legislation.
NAC is fighting against relegation from the Eredivisie. The club is seventeenth in the competition, five points behind number sixteen Telstar.
The club will be in court in Utrecht on Tuesday in an attempt to have a match declared invalid. NAC has filed summary proceedings because it lost to Go Ahead Eagles (6-0), while the opponent from Deventer played with a player without a valid work permit.
