The RTL top wants Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan to stop publicly bashing their colleague Renze Klamer. “Our approach is that we have these types of conversations internally.”
Friend and enemy agree: it is understandable that Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan are disappointed that their talk show RTL Tonight is being taken off the air, but at the same time everyone knew from week one that this was coming. And now they are taking out their anger on Renze Klamer, who has to smooth things over.
“Internal please!”
Beau and Humberto lash out at Renze in a different medium every day, causing a blemish on the new talk show even before the premiere of his new program. And RTL is also done with that.
A spokesperson for RTL makes a telling statement RTL Boulevard: “We understand very well that the decisions surrounding RTL Tonight are accompanied by emotions. Our approach is to have these types of conversations internally.”
From the tube?
TV authority Tina Nijkamp suggests that Beau and Humberto may be taken off the air early due to their uncollegial misconduct. That will not happen, according to RTL.
“The last broadcast of RTL Tonight will be on June 12 and in the meantime we are working enthusiastically on the new talk show. We do not want to anticipate its content at this time.”
‘Take control!’
Tina thinks it is good that RTL is now speaking out against public bashing. “It is high time that RTL really takes control of RTL tonight and the ‘demolition’ of Renze. Talk to the gentlemen. Resolve it nicely with Humberto and Beau by, for example, giving them a new program,” she writes. The Telegraph.
“Do something. Frustrations should remain internal, especially if you are trying to make a fresh start at a crucial time slot. (…) As long as RTL continues to let its own stars demolish each other, Renze will soon not start with a clean slate, but with a 10-0 deficit.”
