“A mixed feeling,” says Milan Zonneveld. Last winter break, the 22-year-old goal scorer made the move from Telstar to Sparta. “Losing is never fun, but scoring is.”
In the 31st minute he put his Rotterdam club ahead with a header. That happened just before a cheering away section, but the rest of the stadium treated him to a flute concert. “That may be logical, but I didn’t like the chants as much.”

Just before the interview, Gertjan Tamerus walks past and compliments Zonneveld for his goal. The Sparta striker received a lot of help from Telstar’s assistant coach during his time at the Witte Leeuwen. “I watched a lot of footage with him and talked about it.”
