The countdown to the 2027 edition of one of the world’s most influential music festivals has begun. Immediately following this year’s edition, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced the dates for 2027. The traditional event will once again take place on the grounds of the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
For 2027, the festival dates are scheduled for April 9th to 11th and April 16th to 18th. Advance sales are scheduled to start on May 1st and – as in previous years – are expected to generate high demand within a very short period of time.
Possible prices
Concrete prices for the 2027 edition have not yet been determined, but a look at the latest developments provides a clear direction. This year, regular three-day passes were around $549 to $649, depending on the weekend and sales period, while VIP tickets could cost more than $1,200.
With a shuttle, camping or accommodation, the total costs quickly rise into the four-digit range. In view of high demand and rising production costs, a similar or slightly higher price level can also be expected for 2027.

With headlining performances from Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G as well as a diverse line-up spanning indie, pop, hip-hop and electronic music, the festival once again relied on maximum star power.
In addition to the established acts, collaborations and unannounced guest appearances are increasingly shaping the festival’s profile. These moments spread in real time across social networks, amplifying the global reach of the event. Coachella also functions as a cultural showcase for current musical and aesthetic developments.
At the same time, the festival has been criticized for years – for example because of rising ticket prices and growing exclusivity. In addition, the political connections and investments of owner Philip Anschutz repeatedly cause discussions.
By rescheduling in April, the festival remains firmly positioned at the start of the international season. The early announcement should make planning easier for fans worldwide while also fueling speculation about the upcoming line-up.
