Unusual withdrawals
On Monday, April 6, the rapper took to Instagram live to tell her followers how she discovered four people were using her credit card and shopping at Saks, a designer fashion store, and Apple. Within just one hour, over $60,000 was withdrawn from her account.
“As soon as I saw the notification I was like, ‘Saks $40,000, what the hell?’ And then when I saw that Apple crap – because who the fuck spends $20,000 at Apple? If I get your addresses before the people who are doing this investigation – because they have pictures of you – then I’ll have you beaten the fuck up,” she said.
“You’ve been to Chase, you’ve been to Saks, you’ve been to Apple. You’re going to jail, you bastards… I’ve got clear pictures of the assholes trying to take money out of Chase… You tried. I’ve got clear pictures of you at Saks and I’ve got clear pictures of you at Apple. One thing you need to know about me: When it comes to my damn money, I don’t play games.”
How did the thieves get the credit card details?
It is unclear how the thieves got her credit card number. However, the Grammy winner is sure that she knows what the perpetrators look like and can identify them from photos from the relevant stores.
