Jan Slagter has a legendary star working at his own Omroep MAX: André van Duin. He is loved by many viewers and can make a splash with the masses. Who will be the big stars of the future? “Are there any younger presenters of whom you think: gee, that could be a big one?”, the Panorama asks Jan.
Hell of a job
First Jan mentions the name of one of his own people. “Carrie ten Napel has developed extremely well. I think she is a great talent. He is a bit older, but I also think Sybrand Niessen is a great presenter.”
He continues: “I give you the task of presenting a program with such enthusiasm four days a week. hell of a job.”
Hélène and Noa
Jan then points to two women from SBS 6. “Among the commercials, I really like Hélène Hendriks. She is someone who is at home in many markets. Noa Vahle too, how she talks about sports. She does that in such an expert way. She looks very much like her mother, which brings me to my next example: John de Mol.”
He concludes: “I have more intensive contact with Joop, with John it is a bit more businesslike. But they have both been enormous pioneers who are highly regarded in the television world.”
