Ex-boxer Elina Gustafsson and presenter Susani Mahadura said on Instagram before Easter that they plan to cycle from Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, all the way to Riga, the capital of Latvia.
The trip has not gone completely without problems.
Gustafsson says on Instagram that the weather caused a headache for the duo.

– And then it hit! In the middle of the forest route, the sky parted and the sleet drenched the lifestyle cyclists. The trees protected a bit from the worst of the whipping. But the ground turned into mud and sinking slush and progress became difficult, says the ex-boxer in his update.
The soaked duo poses in the picture looking tired. The update also has a video of what the nasty sleet really looked like.
The problems didn’t end there.
– The captain’s saddle came off and the skipper’s fingers got so cold that driving was painful. We were in the middle of nowhere and we realized that the situation looks pretty bad in every way.
According to Gustafsson, quick solutions had to be made.
– We found a deserted cabin, which we took shelter in for a while. The captain called the owner of our cabin accommodation and stated that we were in trouble. At that second, our Latvian host borrowed his neighbor’s bus and went to get Kapu and the skipper to safety.
Finally, the two got into the warm car.
– Soon we saw the front lights of the bus and sighed with relief. We made it. Fillers to the trunk and heats to the full, Gustafsson writes.
The ex-boxer was previously in a relationship with dancer Anna-Liisa “Ansku” Bergström. The two competed together Dancing with the stars in the program. They said in January of last year that their relationship had come to an end.
– Our relationship has come to an end. Behind is a beautiful journey together, lots of love and adventures. There are no third parties involved in the decision and separations are always painful, so we hope for peace regarding the matter, Gustafsson wrote on Instagram.
