TOlessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni act together for the first time in the comedy You and I need to talk (up tonight Rai 1 to 9.30pm). The comedians, actors and directors play a couple of incompetent policemen who have to juggle the local boss and family issues to resolve. You and I need to talk pays homage to buddy moviesto those films based on friendship and contrasts between the protagonists, so strong as to create a hyperkinetic comic dynamic. Antonio, Neapolitan, loves action; Pieraldo, from Florence, prefers to stay in the office. An antipodean duo who will get up to some good things.

You and I need to talk: the plot of the film on Rai 1 and RaiPlay

Antonio and Pieraldo, played by Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni, are two policemen far from impeccable, more prone to mistakes than heroic deeds. Their work proceeds amidst messes, tensions and a friendship which continually oscillates between complicity and intolerance.

What makes everything even more complicated is their private life: Antonio is the ex-husband of Matilde (Brenda Lodigiani), who is now with Pieraldo, and together they raise Maria (Gea Dall’Orto), Antonio’s daughter. A delicate family plot, made up of fragile balances and inevitable embarrassments. Meanwhile, the presence of Sara (Francesca Chillemi), a charming colleague from the postal police, reopens old emotions in Antonio, suggesting that some feelings may never have truly vanished.

When Antonio and Pieraldo find themselves involved in a risky investigationtheir daily lives are turned upside down. Forced to leave their comfort zone, they will have to face a situation bigger than them, including unforeseen events, tensions and unexpected turns that will test not only their courage, but also their bond.

Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni: a new comedy couple

Leonardo Pieraccioni and Alessandro Siani work together. The explosive comedy of the Neapolitan comedian pairs perfectly with the more whispered one of the Florentine. The incompetent and opposite policemen work, and Alessandro Siani especially stands out in some very funny scenes of the film. Like the one between the Neapolitan actor and Francesca Chillemi at the starred restaurant. A scene studied in detail, but the actress May God help us she found herself taken aback several times by Siani’s explosive comedy.

The cast with Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni

Alongside Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccionithe cast of You and I need to talk is enriched with other well-known faces. Brenda Lodigiani plays Antonio’s ex-wife and now linked to Pieraldo, with whom she shares a decidedly over the top relationship. Francesca Chillemi enters the scene as a policewoman with an ambiguous character, who had a sentimental past with Antonio.

In the film we also find Gea Dall’Orto, already seen in Three floors by Nanni Morettiwho here tries his hand at comedy for the first time. She plays Antonio’s daughter, as well as Pieraldo’s goddaughter, involved in a love story with Angelo, played by the youtuber Tommaso Cassissa, son of the antagonist (Enrico Lo Verso).
