In Europe’s hunt for oil, a new player suddenly appears: Nigeria. The West African country appears to be able not only to fill the regional gaps in Africa, but also to supply Europe – including the Netherlands – with fossil energy. This is according to a spokesperson for a new mega-refinery owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote in Lagos.
