Ireland is seeking support from NATO countries against the threat of Russia

Ireland wants to keep a closer eye out for Russian submarines and ‘shadow ships’ and work more closely with NATO countries. The country traditionally keeps out of military alliances and spends little on its defense, but states that the government now sees the threat from Russia growing.
