Lotta Harala ran her new record in the 60 meter hurdles in the preliminaries of the Czech Indoor Gala on Tuesday. He finished second in his heat with a time of 7.94.
The heat was won by Pia Skrzyszowska from Poland with the world’s top time of 7.78.
The final will take place in Ostrava, Czech Republic at 19:23.
Harala is currently in a tough fight for a place in the Polish WC halls. Finland is allowed to send only two fast swimmers to the competitions organized in March.
So there are not enough places for all the top names. At the moment, both Lotta Harala, Reetta Hurske and Saara Keskitalo are under heavy pressure.
Keskitalo has improved his own record of 60 meters several times. He ran his most recent record of 7.95 over the weekend in France.
