Many foods are best freshly prepared. Pasta is one such.

One of the tips to make everyday life easier is to cook a big pot of potatoes, pasta or rice, and eat them on several days. But pasta is definitely not at its best the next day. Boiled and drained pasta becomes smooth and dry when it cools.
Pasta is best freshly cooked and you should only cook it as much as you intend to eat at once. If a larger amount of pasta was added to the boiling water, no problem. However, keep in mind that the pasta should be cooled quickly and stored in the refrigerator.
The best way to heat pasta is a frying pan, not a microwave. In a pan, in a small drop of water, you can revive the pasta. Put water on the bottom of the pan and add the pasta. Let the pasta heat up and turn it over at the same time. Be careful not to burn the food. If necessary, pour off the excess water. If the pasta is in the sauce, you probably don’t even need to pour out the water.
Remember that by storing food at the right temperatures, you extend the life of the food.

Here are Martto’s instructions:
1. Look, smell and taste if the food is still edible.
2. The best-before date is, as the name suggests, the date until which the product retains its properties, if the product has been stored correctly. After the date, the product is not unusable, and you can eat it, as long as you first check the quality of the product using your senses. So look, smell and taste!
3. Remember shelf life. When preparing large quantities of food at once, you must take care of its preservation.
