Swedish quiz winner Carola, 59, has to undergo surgery. At his Christmas concert in Gothenburg, he had noticed that his voice was not traveling normally.
– I cried inside, but I sang the chorus at the end of the concert and by Viktor Norén through. The public knows that I don’t give up easily. Of course, they heard that I didn’t sing at full power, Carola says on Facebook.
It became clear to Carola that she had to undergo surgery.
Carola has a cyst under her left vocal cord, this affects her singing voice. The cyst is enlarged, so it needs to be removed.
– The cut makes you think, but Johan, who does it, has cut other female artists with good results, Carola writes.
Carola has participated three times in Eurovision. The victory came in 1991 with a song Fångad av en stormvind.
