Jack van Gelder says he does not recognize himself in the juice about his alleged misconduct behind the scenes at SBS 6. “His behavior behind the scenes is at odds with what we see on TV.”
It remains extremely strange: the TV personalities Johan Derksen and Victor Vlam, affiliated with Hélène Hendriks, have stood up for Jack van Gelder, but we have not heard from the presenter herself about his departure from her talk show. Jack is not welcome at De Oranjewinter this season and it is unclear who exactly this comes from.
‘Jack stays away’
According to Johan, it is Talpa’s decision, but the presenter refuses to stand up for Jack and defend his place in the program. At least we won’t hear her publicly. Is there something else at play?
The juice channel Reality FBI states that Jack is exhibiting difficult behavior behind the scenes. “In conversation with some sources, it really seems that Jack will definitely not return. Not even in the summer edition of De Oranjezomer. Extra bitter, because the World Cup starts this summer, and with football Jack is of course the right person.”
‘Totally fed up’
The Jack exit is an urgent request from Hélène’s editors, the channel says. “The editors seem to be completely fed up with him, with his mannerisms and the doings behind the scenes as the main reason.”

Johan also indicated on Monday that Jack is not the easiest behind the scenes: “Look, Jack is not always pleasant and social behind the scenes. He is a difficult boy, a quick-tempered, short-tempered boy, but he was a man at the table with statements.”
Jack denies
It seems that Hélène is in a difficult position: according to Johan she thinks Jack is an asset to the show, but according to Reality FBI, her editors think he is too erratic. And if Hélène has to choose between Jack or her editors, there is of course only one option. She always has to stand in front of her editors.
