The fire brigade just reported this to AT5. “An explosion occurred during the work at Marnixstraat,” said a spokesperson. “As a result, many connections are now not working and several streets in the city now have no power.”
It is not yet clear what exactly exploded. No one was injured in the explosion. No fire broke out either.
