From next season, Dennis de Nooijer will be the trainer of Kozak Boys, which plays in the Second Division. De Nooijer has never worked as a head coach at the highest amateur level in the Netherlands before and now gets that opportunity at the club from Werkendam. The Vlissingen trainer has signed a contract for one season.
“I think this is a wonderful moment. Kozak Boys is a big club,” says De Nooijer club website of Kozak Boys. “For me this is the highest stage and that was the main reason for signing here.” De Nooijer is head coach at third division team SteDoCo this season, but announced in November that he did not want to renew there.
“Dennis is a trainer with a lot of creativity. He has undergone great development as a trainer. He also has a lot of experience in working with young and talented players,” said the club’s technical committee.
Meeting with twin brother
Kozaks Boys is number ten in the rankings halfway through the season. There is a good chance that next season he will compete against his twin brother Gérard, who is a trainer at Hoek and is at the top of the Second Division, writes Broadcasting Zeeland.
During his presentation, De Nooijer already expressed himself about the objectives of his new club for next season: “That is the left row. Let’s start with that, then we will see further.”
