That was just before 4:00 am. The robbers targeted an ATM in the facade of the building. A local resident who lives next door was ‘frightened’ by the explosions. She was standing on the balcony watching the second explosion.
“It was really loud. I had to go in immediately because it hurt my ears. It really wasn’t a normal bomb,” she says worriedly.
Havoc
The two explosions caused enormous damage and local residents came to inspect the damage in the morning. “I think it’s terrible. There are just a lot of people living around here,” she says.
“It’s a huge devastation,” says someone who also comes to watch. He says he is not surprised that there was an explosion. “It’s not the first time here, it’s just part of it,” he continues.
