Capital Bra confirms BERLIN LIVES 3 in Instagram story. However, the collaboration album with Samra could be at risk due to conflicts.
Capital Bra is back on social media after his relapse into drug addiction – with good news for fans of the BERLIN LEBT album series. In a recently uploaded Instagram story, the German rapper confirmed part 3 of the series, but what the collaboration with Samra is like is still not clear.
News about the new record hidden in a flood of Instagram stories
Since his public admission about his drug relapse, which he posted on social media with a bloody nose, things went quiet around the 31-year-old for a short while. Meanwhile, former manager and good friend Drilon gave updates via stories from his Thailand vacation about the rapper’s health and his care plans. Capital Bra is doing “okay so far given the circumstances,” and his close confidant Miriton is looking after him “24/7” in Cyprus – his adopted home. A personal update from the artist should be given when he is feeling better.
This is probably the case now, because Vladislav Balovatsky – his real name – recently posted content about his meals, outfits and Twitch streams on his Instagram stories, especially Miriton. In between all the activities, he filmed himself in a mirror of what was supposed to be a hotel lobby and asked the question: “BERLIN LIVES 3 can come or what?” Followed by a laugh and his answer: “You can accept it, big boy! Berlin lives Bra.”
Collaboration album in danger?
In October 2025, Capital Bra came on stage at Samra’s Berlin concert as a surprise guest to perform his part of the hit “Tilidin” from the 2019 collab album BERLIN LEBT 2. After the performance, the artists shared a joint Instagram post. In it they confirmed that the follow-up album BERLIN LEBT 3 would also be a collaboration. The two have not yet announced a release date.

During a Twitch live stream – shortly before his confession of relapse with a bloody nose – Capital Bra accused his colleague of abandoning him in his attempt to get clean and of not supporting him with advice and support. Samra, who beat his own drug addiction, promptly responded with an Instagram story. In it, the 30-year-old explains that the artist’s statements on social media are “not true”. He further explained: “I have often told you that and, above all, how I made it out of this drug swamp.”
The rapper, who was in a newcomer-mentor relationship with Capital Bra during BERLIN LIVES 2, referred to him as a “friend” in the post. However, it is not clear whether Capital Bra’s statements have once again driven a wedge between the two and thus between the project. If BERLIN LEBT 3 remains a collaboration, it would be the first joint music release between the two artists in almost five years – Samra has not yet commented on his colleague’s album news.

We are opening the year 2026 with a unique and extraordinary collaboration: on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death, ROLLING STONE and MUSIKEXPRESS are releasing two world-exclusive vinyl singles by Prince.
A few months before his death, the genius of the century had recorded two albums that once again show him in top form and will be re-released in the new year: “HITnRUN Phase I” and “Phase II”. These were to remain his last works. For “Phase I” he worked with singers such as Rita Ora and Lianne La Havas. “Phase II” shows him as a political observer of his time.

The March issue of MUSIKEXPRESS features a second world exclusive Prince single: “Baltimore” / “Stare”, two songs from HITnRUN Phase II. Prince wrote the ballad-like “Baltimore” under the impression of racist police violence in the USA. Both editions are also available HERE together in a bundle at the special price of EUR 19.90.
