Yle is planning a continuation of the series that has become a favorite of viewers

Pelts second nature ends today, but only for now.

After all, the fifth season has proven to be such a magnet for viewers that the continuation follows.

– The sixth season is coming at the end of this year, producer Maarit Puttonen reveals to Iltalehti.

And there is another piece of news:

– Osmone is also planned to visit the sixth season in at least one episode.

Osmo is, of course, Peltsi Peltola’s 13-year-old son, who became a TV star a year ago Peltsi and Osmo with the series. Golden Venla -gala, Osmo, who was awarded as the performer of the year, now visited his father’s series in a couple of episodes this season – and successfully visited.

– Episodes where Peltsi and Osmo go on adventures together have been particularly popular, Puttonen is happy.

– Of the episodes, Osmo’s first fishing trip has attracted the most interest, which has clearly attracted more viewing than the other episodes, he compares.

In total, in the fifth production season of the series, Areena has more than a million starts. Even on TV2, the program is among the most watched on the channel.

Osmo has enough popularity on social media as well, which has also been noticed on Yelle.

– Hearts have rained again. In particular, the social media clips in which Osmo is involved have gone viral, i.e. they have spread nicely, Puttonen praises.

Of another nature in the penultimate episode, Peltsi-isä promised Peltsi and Osmo -series since the second season, as long as the boy grows a mustache. They don’t grow yet, but what’s the schedule like for the new episodes?

– The second season is in the plans, but we can’t say the exact time yet, Puttonen formulates.
